The Town of Perinton (often simply referred to as Fairport) is nestled on the east side of Monroe County, and is thought by many to be one of the true gems of the Rochester area. Just 12 miles from downtown Rochester and a short drive to Eastview Mall in Victor, this area offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern convenience.

Steeped in history, Perinton was first settled in 1793 by Glover Perrin and his family. The Erie Canal played a key role in shaping Fairport into the vibrant canal town it is today. While Perinton remained rural until the 1950s, it has since evolved into a suburban haven, known for its excellent amenities, abundant parks, and recreational opportunities.

 

The Village of Fairport is the heart of it all. Locals flock to the area for its bars, restaurants, boutiques, live music, and festivals. It’s the kind of place where there's something for everyone, making it a very popular place to live.
